The top photo is Big and Little Paul loading the 17 year old with the skull fracture into the back of our Toyota pickup. Three days later he is resting comfortably with his mother at the University of Miami 'Hospital'. This is a nice story with a happy ending.
Cory,
ReplyDeleteI have read every blog you posted while in Haiti and now home. I always thought you were a special kind of person with a caring and loving soul. Your trip validated that 10 fold. I am sure you touched the lives of the people you helped and worked with, and they will never forget you.
Have you heard anything about the boy who worked with you, Ralph. Is he going to be able to come back to the US?
Cory I hope you are doing ok now and I am so glad you are home and safe.
L,
Debbie B
Thanks Deb, I'll be following up with Ralph and I promise to keep everybody posted.

ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? You are truly a humanitarian. Mom would be so proud. She taught you to care for others who were less fortunate than you were, as she did. I am so glad to have you in my life. Love, J
ReplyDeleteHey girl,
ReplyDeleteI checked on skull fracture boy again after we transferred another traumatic brain injury to UM last night. He was moved out of the PICU to the general floor on Saturday. He's doing so well. He'll probably be discharged on Saturday or Sunday.
Thanks for keeping me posted. I really appreciate it. Send photos if you have. I hope you guys are eating properly:)
